Dalit History Month is here!

Join us for an event featuring renowned speaker and activist Cynthia Stephen in dialogue with Dalit History Month co-founders Thenmozhi Soundararajan and Maari Zwick-Maitreyi

Cynthia Stephen an independent journalist and policy analyst on Gender, Development and Social inclusion throughout Dalit communities.

Dalit History Month is a participatory radical history project. Our goal is to share the contributions to history from Dalits around the world. We believe in the power of our stories to change the upper caste narratives of our experience as one solely of atrocity into one that is of our own making. Our story may have begun in violence but we continue forward by emphasizing our assertion and resistance. Join the conversation at #DalitHistoryMonth.

What are the possibilities of Dalit liberation through the lens of gender, faith, and futurism? How do women, gender non conforming people, trans and queer bodies imagine their future? What does a world without casteist violence look like?

Join us for this riveting conversation with groundbreaking activists who are breaking the silence on caste!
