We work to end caste apartheid, gender based violence, Islamophobia, and white supremacy through advocacy, education, digital security, and collective healing.
Our caste equity civil rights leaders come from various religious and cultural back grounds. We stand in solidarity with historically excluded and oppressed people everywhere.
Caste is an exclusionary social category that ranks people at birth and caste apartheid is a form of systematized oppression that affects more than 260 million people worldwide.
We work at the intersection of advocacy, community-based research, socially engaged arts, and digital security for South Asian religious and cultural minorities. We provide practical tools for South Asian communities to make new interventions in longstanding systems of oppression and advocate for themselves.
Join us as we continue to work to advance international Dalit human rights. Our historic movement needs supporters like you. Let’s end caste discrimination—for good.
As a Dalit Ravidassia Sikh woman in the diaspora, I can affirm that caste equity organizing is a lifeline for my caste-oppressed community. The work that Equality Labs does is centered around a Dalit feminist framework, which is essential to building a better future for historically disenfranchised and silenced people. As a Dalit femme who has faced caste discrimination in the diaspora, I know firsthand that caste protections are a necessity in educational institutions, workplaces, and cities everywhere. I am proud to be a part of the caste equity movement, and I encourage folks to get involved so we can heal and build resilience collectively.
