Equality Labs has worked alongside politicians, legal experts, and advocacy organizations to add caste as a protected category in non-discrimination policies throughout the nation. We offer consultations on caste competency and DEI workshops to help organizations and institutions across the world advance equity. Our strategic training focuses on BIPOC leadership, civic engagement, community organizing, and movement building.
Unlearning Caste Supremacy Trainings
Equality Labs’ Unlearning Caste Supremacy is the first-of-its-kind workshop series that breaks the silence around caste and dives deep into the history and legacy of this oppressive system. Launched in 2019, our training for individuals and organizations across the corporate and nonprofit sectors have served as an essential catalyst to caste competency, advocacy, and collective action.
The workshop provides resources and tools to help participants shape their own thinking and unlearning around caste supremacy, in order to help grow caste equity across our movements while providing practical tools for how organizations and individuals serve as allies in the global fight to annihilate caste. UCS is designed to inform participants’ understanding of the wide range of political, artistic, and organizing work we do. Digital Security
Equality Labs has several projects that look at the digital rights, freedom of information, and digital resiliency of our communities. We train people in digital security and are traveling the length and breadth of the world to build capacity with our partners. We’ve joined national roundtables and conversations to build secure technology and participate in policy battles. We believe that in a holistic convergence of practices, we can create an internet that centers race, caste, and gender equity.
